Young Alumni Council
Welcome! 
The Young Alumni Council (YAC) is composed of graduates from the last ten years, working together to enrich the lives of current students and recent graduates through programming, social and professional networking, volunteering, and philanthropy. These opportunities assist young alumni in their transition from a collegian at Illinois Wesleyan and lay the foundation for a relationship with their alma mater that lasts a lifetime.

- Strengthen engagement among young alumni through meaningful programs, events, and communications
- Support current students and recent graduates with mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities
- Recruit, empower, and sustain a strong volunteer and leadership pipeline with YAC
- Plan and execute impactful events that foster social, educational, and professional connections
- Increase young alumni philanthropic participation and support institutional giving initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Office of Alumni Engagement to ensure effective operations, communication, and long-term success

The Young Alumni Giving Circle was established in 2020 by the Illinois Wesleyan Young Alumni Council as a way to give thanks for the scholarship support they received when they were current students and pass along that same opportunity to current scholars in the form of an annual scholarship. This Giving Circle allows young alumni the opportunity to come together and support a high achieving student who demonstrates financial need.
