Sports Management Minor
The sports management minor provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the business and operational aspects of the sports industry. The curriculum combines sport-specific coursework with business fundamentals while allowing students to choose courses based on their interests through electives.
The Sports Management minor is designed:
- To provide students with operational and business expertise in planning, organizing and managing sports programs, events and facilities
- To allow students to integrate sports-specific knowledge with essential business skills
- To prepare students for diverse career opportunities in athletics
Paired with a complementary major, students with this minor are well equipped for careers such as, but not limited to, event coordinators, athletic administrators, sports marketing professionals, recreation program administrators, as well as sport, fitness and wellness center managers.
Sport Management Minor Sequence:
